Role: User Experience Design Lead
I flipped the original design from being team-centric to task-centric. This new model was much more effective in giving focus on assigning tasks rather than focusing on what team members needed tasks to complete. This is small but important change in the design. When a user selects a task, an algorithm assesses the best matches for that task. Only team members appear that are ideal to complete the selected task. It takes the thinking out of the hands of the dispatcher and allows the platform to provide business intelligence to create an easier experience for the user. Collaborated with executives, product management and development to redesign this existing tool from initial concept to wireframe to high fidelity to code to market.
